With all due respect to the players on Kirk Herbstreit’s latest “top performers” list, Ole Miss may have a point when it raises an issue with the list from the College GameDay analyst.

Matt Corral has played the best football of his college career this season, but Saturday, he was on another level against Vanderbilt.

The Ole Miss signal-caller completed 31 of 34 passes (91.2 percent) for 412 yards with six touchdowns and no interceptions against the Commodores.

Despite that strong showing, Corral didn’t make Herbstreit’s list.

Here is the list from Herbstreit: No. 1 Travis Etienne Clemson, No. 2 Taulia Tagovailoa Maryland, No. 3 Ricky White Michigan State, No. 4 Bo Nix Auburn, No. 5 Joseph Ossai Texas, No. 6 Justin Fields Ohio State and No. 7 Nick Starkel San Jose State.
