Lane Kiffin basks in Egg Bowl victory, tosses visor and trolls Pete Golding
Lane Kiffin and Ole Miss brought the Egg Bowl trophy back to Oxford Saturday night after a late surge pushed the Rebels past Mississippi State.
The win makes Kiffin 3-1 against the Bulldogs and it secured his second 10-win season at Ole Miss. After the game, Kiffin was basking in the glory and celebrating with fans.
Following the conclusion of the game, Kiffin made his way over to a section full of Ole Miss fans at Davis Wade Stadium and celebrated with them, tossing his signature visor into the crowd. One lucky fan went home with quite the souvenir.

A member of Kiffin’s coaching staff, Kevin Smith, served as Ole Miss’ running backs coach in 2020 and 2021 before spending a year at Miami. Smith returned to Ole Miss this season, and helped lead the Rebels to a win in the Egg Bowl. After the game, Kiffin reminded everyone that Smith is undefeated in the Egg Bowl.
