Lane Kiffin emphasizes importance of upcoming bye week following win over Arkansas
Lane Kiffin and Ole Miss’ bye week is coming at a convenient time.
Following Ole Miss’ 27-20 win over Arkansas Saturday Kiffin met with reporters to discuss the game. He revealed that starting QB Jaxson Dart suffered an injury on just the 2nd play of the game, which obviously limited his play moving forward.
But that wasn’t it. Star WR Tre Harris, who has already dealt with an injury this season, also was injured Saturday against the Razorbacks. According to Kiffin Harris suffered a lower-body injury.

You’ve got to feel good now if you’re Ole Miss, despite these injury updates. Dart was able to still win the Rebels the game and should be back to 100% soon after some rest during the bye week. Kiffin said that Harris tried to give it a go against Arkansas but couldn’t, so time off to allow him to heal is important as well.
The Rebels take on Auburn in Week 8 following the bye week.
