Lane Kiffin’s Ole Miss Rebels got back in the win column in Week 6, defeating South Carolina 27-3.

It was a nice win for the team who was trying to avoid another disappointment after losing to Kentucky in Week 5.

After the game, though, Kiffin couldn’t help but notice what else was going on in the college football world during his press conference. A reporter asked Kiffin about the health of his team following the win, but instead of answering, Kiffin asked about the game he was watching.

“How many timeouts does Alabama have?” Kiffin asked the room. “Sorry, I mean this is a once-in-a-lifetime thing going on. Better watch, you’re probably not ever going to see this again.”

As you probably know by now, Vanderbilt did end up shocking the world and beating Alabama 40-35.

The previously-No. 1 Crimson Tide losing to an unranked Vanderbilt team is one of the most shocking outcomes in recent college football history. That wasn’t even the only upset of the day, though, as No. 4 Tennessee fell to unranked Arkansas as well.

Kiffin’s squad, meanwhile, improved to 5-1 overall and 1-1 in SEC play. The next test for the team will be in Week 7 against No. 13 LSU in Baton Rouge.
