Lane Kiffin believes he has one of the best wide receivers in the country on his team.

The Ole Miss head coach dubbed Tre Harris one of the top receivers in the country during the SEC coaches teleconference Wednesday, speaking to the big game Harris had against LSU despite not even being fully healthy.

“What’s awesome is I don’t think he was fully healthy Saturday, so I think when he is, he’s one of the best receivers in the whole country,” Kiffin said. “And his touchdown percentages by play time are off the charts, whatever it is 16 catches to 6 touchdowns or something like that, ridiculous. It’s been really encouraging, a big struggle with my whole Alabama game situation was not having 2 of our most critical guys at full strength for that game. So it was great to have him back last week. Obviously a big part of the 700 yards.”

On Saturday, Harris had 153 yards and a touchdown on just 8 receptions. On the season, he’s racked up 341 yards and 6 touchdowns on 16 receptions. Harris is certainly making his case for one of the best receivers, and it will be interesting to see what he can do when he is fully healthy.

Ole Miss will have another big matchup this weekend after the electric win over LSU. The Rebels will take on Arkansas as they look to continue forging a path towards the SEC Championship.
