Lane Kiffin of Ole Miss has been named The Dodd Trophy Coach of the Week.

Award recipients are selected each week by officials of the Bobby Dodd Coach of the Year Foundation and the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl.

The Rebels beat then-No. 7 Kentucky at home on Saturday, 22-19, to move to 5-0 on the season.

The victory marked the 13th consecutive home win for Ole Miss.

“Coach Kiffin has sparked new life into the Ole Miss football program, building off of last season’s success and starting the 2022 season 5-0,” said Jim Terry, chairman of the Bobby Dodd Coach of the Year Foundation. “This win required success in all three phases of the game, something Coach Dodd always stressed with his own players.”

Kiffin is now 20-8 with the Rebels since being hired in December of 2019.

Ole Miss jumped to No. 9 in this week’s AP Top-25 after the win over the Wildcats.

The Rebels will on the road this Saturday at Vanderbilt. The game is set for 4 p.m. (ET) and will be televised by the SEC Network.
