Lane Kiffin saw the top 10 upsets on Saturday, from Appalachian State beating Texas A&M, to Marshall winning at Notre Dame, to Baylor losing to BYU, and it was another reminder to knock take an opponent for granted.

“I mentioned in commending them after the game….there are three pretty notable programs that didn’t take care of business during the day…commended them for not (even) letting those guys hang around,” Kiffin said Monday at his weekly press conference. “You’ve always got to be ready to play. Doesn’t matter what the spreads are…..or how many 5-stars you have…or if you use a book to coach. You have to be ready to play every week.”

The Rebels had an overmatched opponent in Central Arkansas last week, and won 59-3. The biggest news from that game was that Luke Altmyer suffered an upper-body injury. It was his first career start, and he finished with 90 yards and 2 touchdowns on 6-of-13 passing. Jaxson Dart came in for the final drive of the second quarter, and finished the game with 182 yards and 2 touchdowns on 10-for-15 passing.

This week, Ole Miss visits Georgia Tech in a 3:30 p.m. ET game on ABC.
