Ole Miss had a dominant win over Penn State on Saturday in the Peach Bowl, and also swept the post-game awards.

But as the confetti fell on Saturday night, coach Lane Kiffin said, “It feels like New Year’s Eve now. But what an awesome day. I want to give credit to Penn State for a competitive game today. Want to thank God for the opportunity to bring these players together. … This is pretty cool and we’re just getting started.”

Kiffin said this was a big-time game on a big-time stage against a big-time program.

“I thought our players played amazing, our coaches did a great job,” Kiffin said. “And by far, our fans showed up today.”

Jared Ivey received the Defensive MVP for Ole Miss after he made 5 tackles, including 2 for a loss and 2 pass breakups in the 38-25 win over Penn State.

“It feels great to be back home with these guys and come make history back home,” he said on ESPN.

Caden Prieskorn was the Offensive MVP after he had 10 catches for 136 yards and 2 touchdowns.

“My teammates trusted me and my quarterback, the coaches,” Prieskorn said. “I’ve just gotta thank the whole Ole Miss community for supporting us the whole season.”
