Lane Kiffin uses golf ball for ceremonial first pitch at Ole Miss-Tennessee baseball game
Lane Kiffin was picked to throw out the first pitch of Friday night’s Ole Miss-Tennessee baseball game. For those who expected a “special” first pitch with a call back to the last time Kiffin was on the field against the Vols, the Ole Miss head football coach delivered.
Kiffin tossed aside a baseball and opted to go with a golf ball for his pitch thrown to Tywone Malone.

After last year’s Ole Miss-Tennessee football game at Neyland Stadium, Kiffin memorably showed off a golf ball that was thrown onto the field in his direction.
