Logan Diggs was a breakout star for the LSU Tigers in 2023, running for 653 yards and 7 touchdowns despite dealing with some injuries.

After the conclusion of the season, Diggs revealed he was entering the NCAA transfer portal. It came as a surprise to some, but it didn’t take the talented running back long to find a new program.

In fact, he’s staying in the SEC. On Wednesday evening, Diggs revealed on social media that he was committing to Ole Miss and coach Lane Kiffin:

Of course, you can expect Kiffin’s name to pop up in plenty of rumors surrounding Alabama now that Nick Saban has retired. But Diggs is heading to Oxford for the time being, and it is a great commitment for the Rebels, who just lost star RB Quinshon Judkins to Ohio State.

As for Diggs’ exit from LSU? Well, perhaps there was more drama than we thought. After revealing his commitment to Ole Miss, Diggs sent this cryptic tweet:

Can Diggs put up Judkins-like numbers at Ole Miss? We’ll see what the future holds for the former LSU running back as he prepares to play for his third school in 3 years after transferring from Notre Dame to LSU prior to the 2023 campaign.
