LOOK: Ole Miss fans fed up with DC Wesley McGriff after another abysmal showing from Rebels’ D

After trailing 7-0 on Saturday night, the Alabama Crimson Tide rattled off 62 unanswered points to pick up a lopsided win over the Rebels.
En route to the 62-7 win, the Tide put up 516 total yards of offense, even while taking their foot off the gas pedal late in the blowout.
That didn’t sit well with Ole Miss fans. One week after giving up 41 points and 629 total yards to Southern Illinois, Rebel supporters have seen just about enough of DC Wesley McGriff.
As you can see below, McGriff was the subject of a lot of frustrated tweets on Saturday night:

Wesley McGriff is simply over his head he had no previous experience of being a coordinator and his first coordinator job shouldn’t have been in the SEC…it’s not Luke’s fault now but it will be if he is still employed there next year.

@CoachMattLuke if Wesley McGriff is the D coordinator after this two week showing, it’s going to be hard to continue my fandom. Worst scheme I have ever seen #letsgowin

Please fire Wesley McGriff at halftime. I beg of you.

The Rebels have a chance to get back on track next weekend when Kent State comes to town. However, fans won’t just want to see a win — they’ll want to see some major improvements on defense.
