LOOK: Ole Miss fans react to big upset victory over No. 11 Auburn
On Wednesday night, No. 11 Auburn got its SEC schedule started in Oxford, taking on a hot, but unranked, Ole Miss squad.
What happened? Well, the Rebels dominated pretty much from the opening tip, cruising to an easy 82-67 victory over the Tigers. Auburn cut into the Rebels’ lead midway through the second half, but then Kermit Davis’s squad pulled away late for the big-time win.
Terence Davis led the way for the Rebels, scoring 27 points and grabbing 12 rebounds in the signature win for Davis’s squad.
Fans were thrilled with the way the Rebels played, and they took to Twitter to express their joy over the big win, as you can see below:
