LSU head coach Ed Orgeron takes unveiled shot at Ole Miss
Ed Orgeron’s tenure in Oxford wasn’t the most pleasant
In three years as Ole Miss’ head coach, Orgeron went 10-25 — including a 3-21 record in SEC play. Suffice it to say, but his time as the Rebels’ coach wasn’t overly pleasant.
This upcoming weekend, his LSU Tigers will square off against Arkansas in a very fascinating SEC West clash.
During a Wednesday radio spot, Orgeron fielded questions from callers. LSU struggled versus Alabama in the passing game — namely because QB Danny Etling dropped back with little to no time when trying to execute throws down field.
One caller asked Orgeron whether he’d opt to utilize shorter passes — similar to how Ole Miss operates offensively.
His quick retort says it all:
Caller asks Orgeron about using quick passing game like Ole Miss uses: "First of all, we're not going to anything like Ole Miss does." #LSU
