Ole Miss announces 4-star signee has been cleared to join the program
Good news Rebel fans, Marc Britt has been cleared to join Lane Kiffin’s program.
The Miami native was one of the highest-rated prospects in the 2020 recruiting cycle to sign with Ole Miss, his No. 267 overall ranking nationally was higher than any prospects signed by the program outside of pass rusher Demon Clowney and running back Henry Parrish.
Britt ranked as the nation’s No. 9 athlete in the 2020 recruiting cycle according to 247Sports Composite Rankings and is expected to compete immediately in Kiffin’s offense as a receiver.
The four-star Sunshine State native picked Ole Miss over scholarship offers from Alabama, Florida, Miami and Baylor, among others.
Britt’s status with Ole Miss heading into the season remained in limbo until recently but after finishing up all the required school work to get into school, Ole Miss officially announced Britt’s addition to the football program on Monday.
According to Ole Miss, Britt registered over 1,300 yards receiving and 15 touchdowns during his senior season at Miami Christian School.
