Merry Flipmas: Flip Carswell decommits from Miami, signs with SEC program

Ole Miss pulled off a Signing Day surprise Wednesday by flipping former Miami commit Falentha “Flip” Carswell.
And Rebels coach Lane Kiffin had a bit of fun via Twitter with his recruiting victory.

Carswell is a 6-7, 275-pound offensive tackle from Washington County High School in Georgia.
He is rated by the 247Sports Composite as a 3-star prospect and the No. 50 offensive tackle recruit in the 2022 class.
Carswell is also rated as the No. 58 prospect in the state of Georgia.
In addition to Ole Miss and Miami, Carswell also held offers from Oregon, Georgia Tech, and NC State, among others.
