Back in June, Ole Miss announced that it was making upgrades to the Manning Center, with the price tag set to be $35-$40 million as part of an athletic department-wide initiative totaling up to $300 million.

On Saturday, photos of the renderings of the renovations were tweeted by journalist and college football analyst Brad Logan. Take a look:

According to reports from Ole Miss Spirit, one of the areas that is set to receive a facelift is the locker room, which athletics director Keith Carter mentioned had been in discussion since Matt Luke’s tenure with the football program. The Rebels’ weight room and athletic performance center is also set to be renovated, as is a player’s lounge within the Manning Center.

Along with the renovations will come updated aesthetics, including with graphics and technology, according to Carter. Later, the west side of Vaught-Hemingway Stadium is set to be renovated, with completion for that project targeted for 2026 or 2027.

According to Carter, it’s to keep up with other programs that have undergone their own projects over the past half-decade or more.

“If you think about it, we did a lot over there, but it’s been six or seven years now,” he said. “In athletics terms, that’s kind of like dog years. We haven’t done a lot in the last seven years, and these other schools are starting to do that, so we’ve got to do that, as well.”
