Ole Miss adding former NFL wide receiver as analyst, per report
Lane Kiffin continues to bring in fresh faces for his staff. His latest analyst hire is a former NFL wide receiver currently coaching in the high school ranks.
According to Matt Zenitz of On3, Patrick Carter will be a lead analyst for the Rebels. Carter began his college football career at Georgia Tech in 2003 before transferring to Louisville in 2005. He was in the NFL from 2008-to-2011 primarily as a member of the offseason roster or practice squad with the Baltimore Ravens, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Seattle Seahawks, Denver Broncos and Miami Dolphins.
Carter may be able to help Ole Miss recruit in the state of Texas. Carter’s LinkedIn says he has been an assistant coach for The Kinkaid School in Houston since 2017.
It was also reported Monday that former Ole Miss RB Enrique Davis is joining Kiffin’s staff as an analyst.
