Ole Miss announces multi-sport series with Sun Belt school

We’ll have to wait until 2026, but when we get there, the Ole Miss Rebels are going to do something interesting with their football and men’s basketball teams.
On Wednesday, the school announced a two-sport series on back-to-back days against a team from the Sun Belt.
As you can see below, the Rebels tweeted that the men’s hoops team would host Georgia State on Nov. 20, 2026, followed by a football game against the Panthers on Nov. 21, 2026:

On the hardwood, the Rebels are 2-0 all-time against Georgia State. They’ve never met on the gridiron.
Georgia State joins Charlotte and USC on the Rebels’ 2026 nonconference football schedule.
