Ole Miss LB Denzel Nkemdiche fractures ankle, team fears

Ole Miss linebacker Denzel Nkemdiche left the game against LSU in the first half with an apparent ankle injury, and did not return in the Rebels’ loss to the Tigers.

After the game, it was reported that Nkemdiche suffered a possible fractured ankle, according to head coach Hugh Freeze.

No further details are known at this time. Nkemdiche’s status for next week’s game against Auburn is uncertain.
