Ole Miss fires back at Ed Orgeron as reunion chatter heats up

Ole Miss didn’t waste any time responding to LSU coach Ed Orgeron’s comments about his time coaching the Rebels from 2005-07
The Ole Miss football Twitter account had a short response to Orgeron’s quote on Monday that said the whole time he was at Ole Miss, he was thinking about being at LSU. “See you Saturday in Oxford, Ed.”
Orgeron was 10-25 as the coach at Ole Miss, including losses against LSU, 40-7, 23-20 and 41-24 when the Tigers were among the best teams in the country.
Orgeron has righted the ship at LSU with two solid wins in recent weeks against Florida and Auburn following a disappointing loss to Troy as the Tigers now stand at 5-2.
Given these comments, look for the LSU players to be extra motivated to avoid a let down as distractions around the reunion heat up leading up to the game.
The game is set to kick off at 6:15 p.m. local time and be televised on ESPN.
