Matt Luke’s Ole Miss program continues to stay hot on the recruiting trail with yet another prospect pledging to join the Rebels’ upcoming recruiting class.
The latest commitment comes from Gulfport native Bryce Ramsey. The 6-foot-1, 346-pound offensive lineman is rated as a three-star prospect and the nation’s No. 29 offensive guard recruit in the nation according to 247Sports Composite Rankings. Ramsey visited Oxford unofficially last weekend.
Ramsey’s pledge gives Ole Miss nine early commitments for the 2019 recruiting cycle — which is the most in the SEC. The Rebel recruiting class currently ranks as the nation’s No. 5 class and the SEC’s No. 3 ranked class following this commitment.
The Gulfport native was eager to share the news Wednesday morning:
First and for most I would like to thank God for blessing me with the gift of life My Family for always believing in me and pushing me to always do my best. I’ll like to thank Coach Luke and the Ole Miss Family#MISSISSIPPIMADE🔵🔴 pic.twitter.com/02BmzUT1Pp
