Ole Miss landed commit No. 14 for the recruiting class of 2017 on Saturday afternoon when three-star cornerback Javien Hamilton announced his decision to commit to the Rebels.

Hamilton (5-foot-10, 170 pounds) ranks as the No. 9 JUCO at his position, according to 247Sports. He picked Ole Miss over Cincinnati, Southern Miss, and UTSA.
“Ole Miss just feels like home,” Hamilton told Rebels247. “I talked to (cornerbacks) coach (Jason) Jones on Friday about the defensive situation here, and they believe in me as a cornerback. I feel like I can come in here and make plays.
“It makes me feel good to go ahead and commit,” he added. “It takes a lot of pressure off my shoulders to know where I will be playing. Now I can concentrate on my season and team and winning games this fall.”
Ole Miss currently owns the No. 23-ranked recruiting class for 2017, which is good for 11th in the SEC.
