Ole Miss provides positive update for Tre Harris following late 1st-half exit
Ole Miss provided a positive update for standout wide receiver Tre Harris Saturday following his exit at the end of the first half.
Harris went up for a catch near the sidelines and stayed down. The catch was ruled incomplete upon further review and Harris was on the field for a minute or 2 before gingerly walking to the sidelines.
But no worries, Ole Miss fans. Harris just had the wind knocked out of him, per a team spokesperson.
According to Ole Miss spokesperson, Tre Harris is fine. He just had the wind knocked out of him. #HottyToddy

The Louisiana Tech transfer made an instant impact in Oxford this year, leading the team with 851 receiving yards heading into the Peach Bowl. Losing Harris would have been a big blow to the receiving corps.
Lane Kiffin is searching for the 1st 11-win season of his Ole Miss tenure. Kiffin was on the cusp of achieving the milestone in 2021, but ultimately lost in the Sugar Bowl.
Harris is rapidly approaching a 100-yard performance heading into the 2nd half. Luckily for Ole Miss, Harris will be back for another season next year.
