Lane Kiffin is putting in work via the transfer portal, picking up 2 offensive players out of USC on Saturday.

First, it was confirmed that former 4-star QB Jaxson Dart is heading to the Rebels and is enrolled to begin school. Dart threw for 1,300 yards as a true freshman with the trojans.

Now, it is being reported that former USC tight end Michael Trigg is also headed to Oxford. Trigg recorded 7 catches for 109 yards and a touchdown as a true freshman this season.

Trigg confirmed his commitment via social media with a graphic suggesting he will play both basketball and football at Ole Miss:

Listed at 6-foot-4 and 245 lbs., Trigg was a 4-star prospect coming out of high school. Chris Hummer with 247 Sports indicated Trigg was the No. 2 TE available via the transfer portal.

Ole Miss has had some significant departures this year, most notably losing QB Matt Corral to the NFL Draft. So far, Kiffin is doing a nice job via the portal to try and replace some talent heading into 2022.
