An Ole Miss wideout has put his name in the transfer portal, according to a report from On3’s Matt Zenitz.

Jamar Richardson, a former 3-star cornerback in the 247Sports Composite, put his name in the portal on Wednesday, according to Zenitz. His player profile page no longer appears on the Ole Miss online roster.

Richardson made the switch to wide receiver this offseason after beginning his career on defense. He had 10 tackles and a sack in 9 games during the 2020 season. He also appeared on defense against Austin Peay this year, recording an assisted tackle. But, Richardson has yet to play on offense.

The 6-foot prospect picked the Rebels over offers from Florida, Missouri, and Nebraska, among others. He landed in Oxford after spending 2 years at Jones County Junior College.
