Ole Miss reveals uniform combo for Egg Bowl
Ole Miss is preparing to end its regular season with the annual Egg Bowl matchup against Mississippi State. The in-state rivals always play the day after Thanksgiving in a tradition that dates back to 1901.
Ahead of the matchup, the Rebels revealed their uniform combination for the game. The team will ditch the powder blues and instead go with the traditional navy and grey combination. Navy helmets, navy jerseys, and grey pants will complete the look for the Rebels.

Technically, this is the first time the Rebels have worn this combo in 2024. The navy jerseys and grey pants were worn against Oklahoma but the team wore the special Realtree helmets instead of the classic navy lids.
This will be the third time the Rebels have worn the classic navy helmet in 2024. The team paired the navy helmet with navy jerseys and white pants against Furman and then paired the navy helmet with red jerseys and grey pants against LSU.
Sporting a traditional look makes sense for a traditional rivalry game. The Rebels wore navy primarily from the 1990s until 2014 when the powder helmets were reintroduced. Then, in 2020, the team debuted a new powder home jersey. Week 14 will be the fourth home game of 2024 where the Rebels wear navy jerseys.
The Rebels have 65 Egg Bowl wins while the Bulldogs have 47. In 2023, the Rebels escaped with a 17-7 win, while the Bulldogs won 24-22 in 2022.
The 2024 Egg Bowl will kick off from Vaught-Hemingway Stadium on Thursday at 3:30 p.m. ET. Ole Miss is a 26-point favorite in the game, via ESPN Bet.
Yay. Ole Miss will look like Ole Miss
