Ole Miss may have fallen a few games short of an SEC West Division championship the last two seasons, but there is one title the Rebels can claim over any other conference counterpart.

Coach continuity.

Led by fifth-year head coach Hugh Freeze, Ole Miss is the only team in the SEC that has not hired a new coordinator in the last two years. That is quite the underrated stat.

In the last two years, there have been 27 new coordinators in the SEC alone. Ole Miss boasts co-offensive coordinators Dan Werner and Matt Luke, along with co-defensive coordinators Jason Jones and Dave Wommack, all of whom joined the coaching staff prior to the 2014 season.

Werner and Luke have served as Ole Miss’ co-offensive coordinators for the last four years; Wommack has also held his position with the Rebels since 2012. Jason has been on the coaching staff the least amount of time, joining in 2014.
