The Ole Miss women’s golf team won the program’s first national championship on Wednesday, besting Oklahoma State.
Sophomore Andrea Lignell hit a five-foot putt on the 17th hole to clinch the title for the Rebels.

Golfweek’s brief recap also highlighted the play of Chiara Tamburlini, nothing her 6 and 5 win was the largest margin of victory in the women’s final. Fifth-year senior Kennedy Swann was also highlighted for her 2 and 1 win, which pushed her career match-play mark to 10-2.
