Ole Miss has lost a priority wide receiver recruit from the 2022 class to the transfer portal. Jeremiah Dillon is portal-bound after 2 seasons with the Rebels, according to On3.

Dillon, from Tylertown, Miss., was a 4-star recruit when he signed with Lane Kiffin and the Rebels, according to 247Sports’ composite rankings. He was ranked as the No. 47 WR in the country and the No. 8 player in the state.

But he was unable to break through in a wide receiver room that included Tre Harris, Dayton Wade, and Jordan Watkins, redshirting in 2022 and seeing no playing time as a redshirt freshman in 2023.

Dillon is the 10th player to enter the transfer portal for Ole Miss. Kiffin, of course, is as active in the portal as any coach, with the Rebels set to add former Arkansas linebacker Pooh Paul and ex-Illinois cornerback Tahveon Nicholson in 2024. Offensive lineman Gerquon Scott (Southern Miss) and safety Louis Moore (Indiana) make up the program’s other portal additions to this point.
