The Ole Miss Rebels landed a commitment from 3-star 2019 S Tyler Judson on Saturday, but then they lost a commitment from a different 2019 safety.

That happened when 3-star S Jay Stanley, a Mississippi native, announced he was decommitting from the Rebels.

As you can see below, Stanley announced his decision via Twitter on Saturday evening:

According to the 247Sports composite, Stanley is the No. 61 safety in the class of 2019 and the No. 26 overall recruit from the state of Mississippi.

That leaves the Rebels with 12 2019 commitments, the same amount they started the day with. Prior to Stanley’s decommitment, the Rebels had the No. 6 class in the SEC and the No. 15 class nationally, per 247Sports.
