Paul Finebaum weighs in on Lane Kiffin-Jimbo Fisher feud: 'It's quite a sideshow'
Texas A&M head coach Jimbo Fisher has been known for his involvement in a feud or two, with his famous war of words with Nick Saban taking center stage this offseason.
The latest involves Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin, who had some thoughts after the Rebels defeated the Aggies, 31-28 on Saturday night in College Station.
Cole Cubelic of the SEC Network asked Kiffin what he would wear for Halloween, to which Kiffin responded, “I don’t know, maybe Joker. Maybe Jimbo has a Joker outfit for me.” That comes in response to the previous NIL comments Fisher had made about him and Saban.
College football analyst Paul Finebaum recently weighed in on the back and forth jabs.
“Jimbo went after him, called him a clown show,” Finebaum said. “I don’t think he said his name, but it was obvious. Some people thought he was talking about Saban, but he was talking about Lane. And now this. It’s quite a sideshow.”
It will be interesting to see how the remainder of the season plays out for both coach’s teams, though Kiffin’s reasonably seems to have the most upside right now.
