One of the most intriguing SEC matchups of the weekend is the upcoming showdown between LSU and Ole Miss. The Rebels are favored to win the game, but there’s mixed opinions as to just how close the game will be and the chances for an upset.

ESPN college football analyst Rece Davis recently gave his insight on how he sees things going, saying that he likes Ole Miss “100 times” better than he likes LSU in this one. He noted the inconsistencies and shortcoming that affect both teams, but how those things are not exactly the same.

“They play in spurts,” Davis said. “They play and then they sort of doze.” Davis sees the team remaining undefeated and “putting some heat” on Alabama.

LSU and Ole Miss are set to kick off at 2:30 p.m. CT on Saturday in Baton Rouge.
