The Ole Miss Rebels witnessed a scary sight on Saturday during a team scrimmage, as sophomore DT Benito Jones was injured during a collision and taken to the hospital.
Though he didn’t lose feeling in any extremities, he was held overnight at the hospital.
Now, he’s been released, according to a report from Scout.com reporter Chuck Rounsaville:
Ole Miss DT Benito Jones has been released from the hospital after a hard hit yesterday. He's OK but no word on practice return yet.

Jones, a 2016 5-star recruit, had an outstanding freshman season for the Rebels last year, recording 39 tackles (4.5 for a loss) and half a sack while earning third-team Freshman All-America honors.
There’s no word on when he’ll be able to return to practice yet, but it’s a good sign that he’s out of the hospital.
