Three SEC programs — Mizzou, Arkansas and Ole Miss — currently have openings at the head coach position.
The Razorbacks have been linked to Florida Atlantic coach Lane Kiffin recently, but nothing has become official. Now, it appears Kiffin could be moving on.
Per a report from FootballScoop.com on Thursday morning, Ole Miss is now getting involved in the Kiffin sweepstakes:
The whisper is that Ole Miss is now a major player in the pursuit of Lane Kiffin’s services.
Kiffin’s Owls play UAB Saturday at 1:30 ET for the Conference USA title. “Then things get interesting,” one source told FootballScoop.
Will Kiffin end up in the SEC? If so, will it be at Arkansas or Ole Miss (or Mizzou)?
This weekend will indeed be an interesting one.
