After a season at Ole Miss, Rebels DB Deantre Prince is reportedly looking at transferring. According to multiple outlets, Prince has entered his name into the NCAA’s transfer portal.

Entering his name into the transfer portal does not bound Prince to leave the Ole Miss program, but Ole Miss Spirit of 247Sports is reporting, per sources, that Memphis could be a transfer destination for Prince. Former Ole Miss defensive coordinator Mike MacIntyre and ex-Rebels cornerbacks coach Charles Clark are now on the Tigers staff. The school promoted offensive line coach Ryan Silverfield to head coach after Mike Norvell departed for Florida State.

A Charleston, Mississippi native, Prince played in all 12 games for Ole Miss as a freshman. He recorded 25 total tackles and 2 interceptions. Seven of his tackles came in the LSU game.

As a recruit, Prince was rated 3-stars, the No. 18 Mississippi product, No. 27 ATH and No. 449 prospect nationally in the class of 2019 on the 247Sports Composite. In addition to Ole Miss, Prince received seven other scholarship offers, including Auburn, Georgia, Mississippi State and Texas A&M.
