Ole Miss may have found its next offensive coordinator. A report by Chase Parham of Rivals says that Rich Rodriguez has been offered the position.

The 55-year-old Rodriguez has more than three decades of coaching experience. His last stint as an offensive coordinator came at Clemson from 1999-2000. As an offensive coach, Rodriguez is considered one of the pioneers of the spread option. He is best known as the former head coach at West Virginia (2001-07), Michigan (2008-10) and Arizona (2012-17).

Rodriguez was fired from Arizona on Jan. 2, 2018 after the school spent three months looking into a multimillion-dollar suit by his former administrative assistant claiming sexual harassment and a hostile work environment. He did not coach anywhere in 2018.

Phil Longo, the Rebels previous offensive coordinator, is now at North Carolina.
