Top Missouri recruit commits to Ole Miss
Though Mizzou was desperate to land the services of 4-star DE Chester Graves, the state of Missouri’s No. 1 recruit committed to Ole Miss on National Signing Day.
Graves, a Kansas City native, picked the Rebels during a ceremony at his high school:

Though Graves is a big addition to the Rebels’ 2017 class, it will likely be a couple of years before he’ll make an impact in Oxford. He’ll almost certainly head to a junior college this fall and wait for his chance to join the Ole Miss squad:

According to the 247Sports composite, Graves is the No. 16 weak-side defensive end in the class of 2017 and the No. 1 overall recruit from the state of Missouri.
Graves is the third 4-star recruit in this year’s Ole Miss class, which currently sits at No. 33 in the national rankings.
