Reports: Mike MacIntyre agrees to become Ole Miss defensive coordinator
According to multiple reports, Ole Miss has filled its vacancy at defensive coordinator.
Mike MacIntyre, head coach at Colorado the past six seasons (2013-18), is joining Matt Luke’s staff in Oxford. MacIntyre was a long-time assistant, including coaching wide receivers and defensive backs at Ole Miss (1999-2002), before becoming a head coach in 2010 at San Jose State. His most recent stint as a defensive coordinator was at Duke for the 2008 and ’09 seasons.
MacIntyre, who will reportedly make more than $1 million per season, replaces Wesley McGriff, who was dismissed in November.
