Ole Miss just pulled off an upset from Hoover as the Rebels have eliminated Vanderbilt from the 2021 SEC Tournament.
Ole Miss won 4-1 on Friday, punching the program’s ticket to the semifinals of the event. This marks the third time in four years that Ole Miss has made the semifinals.
The Rebels will now face No. 1 seed Arkansas in a single-elimination contest. That game is set for Saturday at 3:30 p.m. CT on SEC Network.
The other SEC semifinal set for Saturday pits Tennessee versus Florida.
Vanderbilt actually led the game with six hits, while Ole Miss had just four but that was enough to earn the victory from Hoover.
