Ole Miss is one of the loudest teams entering the 2016 season.

Fans and media are chirping about the Rebels’ NCAA investigation just as the season is getting underway, but Ole Miss and Hugh Freeze hope to make some noise on the field this year.

The Rebels return the SEC’s top quarterback in Chad Kelly and loads of talent on both sides of the football. While it’s conceivable for the Rebels to win the SEC West, off-the-field distractions could have an impact.

The early-season schedule presents Florida State, Alabama and Georgia all in the month of September, and Arkansas, LSU, Auburn and Georgia is a nasty four-game stretch. The Rebels would have to overcome a very difficult schedule to make it to Atlanta.

That’s certainly not out of the question with Kelly at the helm.

SEC Network analysts Jordan Rodgers and Clint Stoerner took their best shot at predicting the Rebels’ win-loss record for 2016.
