Tim Elko hit Ole Miss’s first home run of the night against Oklahoma on Saturday in Game 1 of the College World Series final, but the eighth inning is when the Rebels’ bats really came to life.

Leading 4-2 at that point, TJ McCants launched a 2-run shot. Then, Calvin Harris and Justin Bench followed with solo shots of their own, combining for back-to-back-to-back bombs.

After the game, Elko described watching that moment from the dugout:

The Rebels ultimately won 10-3, giving them a lead in the best-of-3 series against the Sooners. One more win and Ole Miss will be national champions.

Sunday’s game is scheduled to start at 3 p.m. Eastern time and can be seen on ESPN.
