Tre Harris, Princely Umanmielen headline initial Ole Miss availability report before OU game
Tre Harris and Princely Umanmielen are both on Ole Miss’ initial availability report heading into the Week 10 matchup with Oklahoma.
The star receiver and edge rusher would both be a huge loss for a Rebels team that cannot afford another loss. In total, 9 players are listed on the Rebels’ initial report.
Harris is listed as questionable while Umanmielen is listed as probable. Umanmielen missed the Rebels’ win over South Carolina with a foot injury and was a game-time decision against LSU in Week 7. The Rebels had a bye week in Week 8, giving the star edge rusher an extra week to heal up.
Meanwhile, Harris has been dealing with a lower-body injury for a few weeks now. The star WR exited the game against LSU, but like Umanmielen, should benefit from the bye week.
Harris leads the nation in receiving yards in 2024 with 987. Umanmielen is 3rd on the team with 3.5 sacks.
Here’s a look at the full availability report for both Ole Miss and Oklahoma:
Cedrick Beavers and Logan Diggs are the only players listed as out for the Rebels. Matt Jones is doubtful, while Harris, Jayden Williams, and Jeremy James are questionable. Umanmielen, TJ Dottery, and Cayden Lee are all probable for the SEC matchup.
The biggest name on the Oklahoma side is Deion Burks. The star WR is questionable and has missed the last 3 games after suffering a soft tissue injury against Tennessee.
Entering this contest, the Rebels are 5-2 overall and 1-2 in SEC play while the Sooners are 4-3 overall and 1-3 in SEC play. These new SEC rivals will kick off from Vaught-Hemingway Stadium on Saturday at Noon ET.
