Tre Harris has made some incredible catches this season, and Saturday was no different.

Harris was asked at Tuesday’s presser if 1-handed catches are something that you can practice. He answered yes and went back to time spent at practice working with the Jugs machine, catching passes with only his left and right hand.

“Most definitely. That’s not something that you can just go up there and do,” said Harris. “A lot of Jug work, just catching with one hand. Left hand, right hand. It paid off as yall saw Saturday.”

Harris recalled making the same exact 1-handed catch at Ole Miss that he did while at Louisiana Tech last season. Harris spent 2020-2022 with the Bulldogs’ program.

Harris caught the pass with his left hand instead of his right hand.

“What’s today’s date? The sixth, the seventh? Yesterday last year, I made the same exact 1-handed catch at Louisiana Tech going with the left hand instead of the right,” said Harris. “That was probably the most memorable before last Saturday.”

Making catches like Harris does on a consistent basis is an art form that takes a lot of practice. It sounds like Harris has put lots of hours into his craft.

Harris is one heck of a college football player.
