Twitter reacts to the latest NCAA investigation update with Ole Miss
Earlier today we relayed the news that the NCAA has expanded its investigation into the Ole Miss football program and possible violations that may have occurred under coach Hugh Freeze that goes far beyond the Laremy Tunsil case.
Per a report from Pat Forde of Yahoo! Sports, enforcement agents from the NCAA have begun interviewing players at Auburn and Mississippi State, and potentially one other SEC West school, that were recruited by Ole Miss while in high school. These players have allegedly been granted immunity for any wrongdoings during their recruitment process in exchange for accurate and truthful statements to the NCAA’s representatives.
We’ve put together a compilation of reactions from Twitterverse below. What are your thoughts on the investigation?
The NCAA is made up of people. And what do people do when they hear Ole Miss make false public statements about the case? They get mad.

The defiant way Bjork and Freeze have handled this at every turn has played well in Mississippi but undoubtedly made it worse in Indy.

The idea that Ole Miss is being picked on because they're upsetting some mythical order is just another in long line of pathetic excuses

College football hates usurpers, from fans all the way to the damned sport's governing body.

"So Ole Miss offered you piles of cash but you signed with Mississippi State out of a sense of duty and honor?"

This is what we suspected was happening. Not good for Ole Miss in any way. https://t.co/nDDf7jZMcQ

The NCAA wants to hammer Ole Miss and they're gonna go to any means possible. This tells me that they don't have enough to hammer them..

Now I'm sure they can find something, and it be bad, but as of this moment they don't have have enough to drop a proverbial hammer
