It’s about time!

Former Ole Miss and current Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Laquon Treadwell recorded his first career NFL touchdown during Sunday’s game against the Green Bay Packers. Treadwell caught a 13-yard reception from quarterback Kirk Cousins on third down before a PAT tied the game at seven.

The former All-American has seen limited action during his three seasons with the Vikings, despite having been selected in the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft. Treadwell entered Sunday’s game with 23 receptions for 233 yards during 26 career appearances.

However, many expected the third-year receiver to have a bigger role in Minnesota’s offense in 2018 alongside fellow wide receivers Stefon Diggs and Adam Thielen.

Treadwell finished his college career as the Rebels’ all-time leader in receptions (202) and ranks third in receiving yards (2,393) and touchdowns (21).
