The NCAA’s decision on Ole Miss probably isn’t going to come anytime soon, according to one national college football writer.
Ole Miss, of course, was investigated for multiple recruiting violations that allegedly occurred under former head coach Hugh Freeze.
It could be a while before a ruling is made after the NCAA’s Committee on Infractions heard testimony for two days back in September.
Yahoo’s Pat Forde joined The Paul Finebaum Show on Monday afternoon to discuss the ongoing matter and attempted to give a time frame for a decision from the NCAA.
Forde said he doesn’t expect a decision to be made until after the annual Egg Bowl rivalry game between Ole Miss and Mississippi State.
The Egg Bowl takes place on Thanksgiving — Nov. 23 — in Starkville.
