Oregon has been the No. 1 team in the country since Texas lost to Georgia. The Ducks were still undefeated entering Week 12 but are suddenly on upset alert.
Dan Lanning’s squad is on the road against unranked Wisconsin, but Luke Fickell’s team showed up with plenty of fight. The Badger defense has been the story of the first half, and Wisconsin’s offense finally woke up before halftime.
After getting the ball with just under 3 minutes left to play in the first half, the Badgers mounted a 9-play, 75-yard drive. Braedyn Locke would cap the drive with a short touchdown toss to Will Pauling, giving Wisconsin a 10-6 lead at halftime.

Oregon has not lost since last year’s Pac-12 Championship Game vs. Washington, and the Ducks entered the final stretch of the season with their eyes clearly set on a potential bye in the first round of the Playoff.
A loss to the Badgers would not totally derail Oregon’s season, especially in the new 12-team format. The Ducks would also still be alive in the Big Ten Championship Game race with 2 games left to play, but it would make things tighter to finish the regular season.
