The Iowa crowd could be heard on the FOX broadcast booing Penn State players who went down on the field with apparent injuries during Saturday’s top-5 showdown.

After the game, Penn State coach James Franklin had strong words for the Hawkeye fans.

“They don’t run a tempo offense. This wasn’t part of our plan,” Franklin told reporters, per Audrey Snyder of The Athletic. “I don’t think that’s the right for college football.

No. 3 Iowa took down No. 4 Penn State 23-20 in Iowa City. Kirk Ferentz’s squad improved to 6-0 overall and 3-0 in Big Ten play with Saturday’s big win.
