AL.com, citing sources, is reporting that Alabama wide receiver Robert Foster is practicing with a sprained MCL.

The good news is that Foster’s injury hasn’t kept him out of practice while he continues to fight to play a bigger role this season. The original injury happened during last Saturday’s scrimmage.

The redshirt sophomore caught six passes for 44 yards last season, but he’s expected to play a larger role in the offense. The Crimson Tide’s wide receiver group is still searching for go-to players.

The Monaca, Pa., native was rated as the No. 2 overall receiver in the class of 2013.
