The Boston Red Sox lost Game 3 of the 2018 World Series in 18 innings.

However, they bounced back in Game 4, setting up a chance to win the Series in Game 5 on Sunday night. And, naturally, that’s exactly what they did, using a strong effort from Vanderbilt P David Price to get the job done.

Price wasn’t the only player from an SEC school to make an impact though. In fact, 11 SEC players made up Boston’s roster, and all of them will soon receive World Series rings.

As you can see below, SEC schools from South Carolina to Missouri were represented on the Red Sox roster:

  • David Price, SP — Vanderbilt
  • Ian Kinsler, 2B — Missouri
  • Mitch Moreland, 1B — Mississippi State
  • Steve Pearce, 1B — South Carolina
  • Andrew Benintendi, OF — Arkansas
  • Jackie Bradley Jr., OF, South Carolina
  • Drew Pomeranz, P — Ole Miss
  • Chandler Shepherd, RP — Kentucky
  • Bobby Poyner, RP — Florida
  • Austin Maddox, RP — Florida
  • Brian Johnson, RP — Florida

Congratulations to those players who just got some serious bling. These are the sorts of moments that will be remembered forever.
